Op Art

1. What is Op Art? Op Art is a short turn of ‘optical art’ it is an optical illusion that tricks the eye. Its a form of abstract art that gives the illusion of movement by the correct use of pattern and color, or in which conflicting patterns emerge and overlap each other . Op art started in the 1960s .The Op art movement was driven by artists who were interested in investigating various perceptual effects. 2. What are the Op art features? Op art is to trick the eye and it is a very interesting piece of art. It is more abstract art in which composition, moves, and shape from. Op Art is not created by chance. The elements that is employed in a piece of Op Art are carefully chosen to achieve that maximum effect.
