1. What is Op Art? Op Art is a short turn of ‘optical art’ it is an optical illusion that tricks the eye. Its a form of abstract art that gives the illusion of movement by the correct use of pattern and color, or in which conflicting patterns emerge and overlap each other . Op art started in the 1960s .The Op art movement was driven by artists who were interested in investigating various perceptual effects. 2. What are the Op art features? Op art is to trick the eye and it is a very interesting piece of art. It is more abstract art in which composition, moves, and shape from. Op Art is not created by chance. The elements that is employed in a piece of Op Art are carefully chosen to achieve that maximum effect. The Evolution Of Calligraphy  Islamic calligraphy is the artistic practice of Arabic handwriting missed with calligraphy. It is based upon the Arabic alphabets in the lands sharing a common islamic cultural heritage. It includes Arabic, Ottoman and Persian calligraphy. It is known in Arabic as khan Islamic  ( خط اسلامي ), which means Islamic line, construction or design. Islamic calligraphy is so beautiful. It is noteworthy, for instance, the Prophet Muhammad said: "The first thing God created was the pen." As Islamic calligraphy is highly venerated, most works follow examples set by well established calligraphers, with the exception of secular or contemporary works. There are many specific techniques when it comes to islamic calligraphy. Weekly Reflection: We have just started art and we are learning about the Islamic and arabica art. We have recently started learning about the 4 four fold and I found it really interesting but unfortunately I did struggle with it so but I managed to draw a flower, but then I thought it was to simple and I kept trying to do different shapes but so far I am struggling with the shapes because I want to try and make everything perfect but it is quite hard for me. I managed to finish the flower in one lesson, and when I trying to draw this flower I tried to make it with many petals and I tried to add detail but I did struggle with that as well. But I did manage to finish it but my target for the next lesson is to make sure that I draw different shapes and also include a lot of detail.
